It must be a good time to buy old Mopars.

I've talked to three people that say their uncle or cousin or someone is selling their collection of old Mopars to buy a new Hellcat. I hope I bump into some these desperate deals.

great idea......sell somthing that increases in value every day.....buy something that depreciates. Deficit spending. And I'll bet a hellcat doesn't get as much attention as an old mopar

.....in a nutshell.

I've been seeing a LOT of project cars coming on the market, but if they're getting sold to buy a Hellcat I would tell the sellers plan on buying used because all you've got is junk these days.

Drive my 67 charger down highway 95 and people are blowing their horns and thumbs upping.

Stop at any gas station, grocery store, hell anywhere and the car gets more attention than anything.

I had a triple black 69 camaro RS, beautiful car. The attention it got doesnt hold a candle to the attention my charger gets. Maybe its the old school look? Hell I dont know.

I figure my charger only going up in the value long as I keep it maintained but I could give two shits. I love it.

I've had almost any type of old iron car and always,no matter which, got compliments every time out. How many people will chase after a hellcat..new vette...mustang..challenger and give it a compliment...nones my bet

I'm betting that those in the know will chase down the new Hellcat's..., I do! :headbang:

I've been watching Hellcats for over a year[test cars]. We'd be crusin' on 75 or 59, and look at each other and say...there's that red[or black] hellcat, again. Other than the hood....you didn't notice. Cool cars[like to see new colors], but as stated above...

If I had the extra coin, I'd probably buy a Charger.

I don't buy a car to get looks or compliments...I buy it because I like it.
Value is subjective as the desire for old cars will diminish with time .becuse the younger set have no affinity to these old cars.
The hellcat is here and now and will be desired long into the future both because there aren't many being made ( who knows if production will cease) and they are a awesome package
Ask 100 people if they'd have a hellcat and I think close to 100 would say yes .That means something

I will buy a Hellcat when a jackass who paid over list can't make the payments is desperate to get rid of it. I will make a deal to take the car and screw the dealer and bank. I will be waiting to get a great car at a bargain. It always happens just need to be patient.

You are so right here. It will happen because there are so many people that buy with money they don't have.

Must be. Someone just bought my 66 hemi Charger and talking about buying a couple more cars.

While at a cruise lately, a guy brought his new, green Hellcat. When somebody told another guy, there's a Hellcat over there, he asked "How can you tell?"

I didn't buy my charger to get looks it's just a side effect. Goes down the road great at 75 mph.

lol you guys on a b body forum are funny doting over the hellcat. Isn't there a forum for that where they also "dyno" race however makes the most rear wheel horsepower wins? Lol silly

i remember when the first vipers in 92 got this attention. Lol where are they now?

Lol for every one guy off here that wanted a ride in the hellcat there are 3 that would rather have rode in you 68 hemi charger.

congrats on the hellcat purchase

A Hellcat is a new car and that's nice. It's a fast new car and that's nicer. But some old cars, Mopars included, are works of art. The Mustang and Camaro will eclipse 707 hp and so it goes. I see the writing on the wall for big V8's. Ford's new GT is an EcoBoost 6. Battery powered cars will take over for gas engines. When these super powered gasoline cars become out-of-fashion they will be cheap, cheap. Then 20 years later they will be cool as a time period piece.

The whole reason you could get Hemi Cuda's and Chargers cheap was the fashions had changed and you looked like a goober with one. I already see it with the first Vipers.
