I started a thread in another section but I think I'll move it to the project section. A couple weeks ago I purchased a 1967 Coronet off of the sale ads. I havent had a project in probably 8-10 years. Then it was a 1947 Chevy Business Coupe. It's still running! Anyway I found this Coronet because I've been a mopar head since childhood. Plus I dig the body style. So I get it home and take a few pictures: 12.jpg13.jpg14.jpg15.jpg16.jpg05.jpg04.jpg02.jpg01.jpg00.jpg06.jpg07.jpg08.jpg09.jpg
It looks pretty rust free from those pictures. So far so good (I think)

I agree ^^^ with Photon.....a good solid start always helps. :icon_thumright:

I think I remember seeing a Couple of pics of this in your original thread. Something about debating wether to paint it or keep in original. Right? Bottom line you have a great car there. Sure you have some work ahead of you - but she's a beauty and a Great start.

Awesome!! Nice starting point.

great project! what are your plans?(white,Cragars,RO/WO clone)

I'm gonna go with the white interior. Leave the bench seat in. I plan on getting it road ready and driving it the rest of this season then bring her in for the winter. I took the interior out and snapped some pics that I will post soon.

It's not too bad it seems. Just a few bad spots. I was just wanting to see what was under that carpet. I believe I will put the carpet back down and put the seats back in and drive it till winter. Just gotta get the electrical gremlins straightened out first.:icon_thumright:

well if the rest of the car is that solid, you made out. wonder why the seat hooks are all bent over?

Looks like a really solid start . . . I thought the floor in the car was suppose to look like this ? ?

I think it was drag raced at one time and he had the back seat out. It was covered with a piece of aluminum that was riveted to the car.

I think all of us with these cars love them but anyone or maybe my tastes only but this one is one i would love to have someday, the body style and especially the interior on them, I love the dash on these! your interior color combo is the greatest with white and black combined! Great SOLID looking project and this will look great when your finished...

I agree, you're getting a good start on this car more then what a lot of guys here have been starting with.
