How many of us didn't know about the fuel arrow?
I don't need any stooopid little arrow to tell me what side my fuel fill is on!! But may James rest in peace knowing that he helped a ton of retards that don't know about what side that is located but also have no idea what that arrow is saying either....

Get a job where you are in rental cars every couple weeks... You'll learn to appreciate the arrow.... Now if they would find a standardized spot for the fuel door release...

Probably helps with other automobile related services, too. Like, valet, detailing, etc.

I borrowed a car from my dad once back in 70 when I swapped engines in my 66 Belvedere.....but drove lots of vehicles that he owned including my first car and can't remember ever renting a car. Have you ever worked at a gas station?

Why? Never needed a job in rental cars LOL. My first car, a 66 Belvedere II was the only car I've ever had that 'cornfused' some gas station attendants. Remember those? The cap was part of the trim package, so it was a bit confusing to some. One guy tried to twist it off (it was kinda tight) and then tried the license plate then went to the right side of the car. The only car I've ever had that had the fill on the right side was a Challenger. Why did ChryCo do that?? I hated that and especially so during the gas crunch when some station attendants made everyone 'keep to the right of the pumps'. Tried to explain that my gas fill is on the right but he didn't care and I wasn't about to drag the hose across the trunk lid. I left a bit of rubber in that freakin place.

I did not know about the dash sign. Ozzy David showed me.
I just walked around the vehicle, found the filler, and made a note in my brain. Left hand side for my truck and Tukvan.

RIP He probably got screwed by Ford like the guy who invented the delay wipers did!
A friend of mine worked on the line at the Willow Run transmission plant. He was a mountain of a man and had no problem lifting a transmission, but he invented a trans lift that Ford started using for all employees. He got a free car outta that!

Hmm I'm renting a car.

Hmm I'm probably going to need to put gas in it before I return it.

Hmmm Maybe I should glance around at times convenient to me to figure out how to put the gas in.

...or should I just pull up to the first pump I see and assume where the fill is?

...then get angry.
