Cool guy, cool vid!! Definately jealous of that mortuary table he uses for teardown lol. Hopefully he realizes at some point after talking about date codes and early vintage that the car itself was a '63 model year. :poke:

One thing I saw that's worth pointing out.... along the 13 minute mark when he's talking about dates and the fact that the Torqueflite was only recently invented when this race trans was made, looking at the upper half of the valve body....you can see how crude those castings are... they have a tendancy to crack there, and you can really see why given the (reverse) line pressures.
 
I know the car very well that this transmission came out of. It is a 1963, not a 64.
