So here's another clue...
1st clue (given in post #3) - The vehicle was NOT new.
2nd clue (given in post #24) - The vehicle was part of one of the larger ENGINE related recalls in automotive history.
3rd clue (given in post #78) - This guy was an old school shop teacher (Industrial Arts). He taught from 1959-1992 in a small rural town school.
4th clue - The recall alluded to in post #24 has been guessed correctly in this thread by one of you.
So here's another clue...
