junkyard prices

A fee just to enter and search for a part you may not find is ridiculous, but I guess if they can get away with it in night clubs, why not junk yards. I wasn't aware that they (LKQ) raised their entrance fee though.

I have use LKQ and that was where I first encountered the "entrance fee". My closer local place does not charge a fee, but LKQ was where I first encountered the fixed, no haggle pricing.

I will have to admit though, that LKQ is a clean and well organized yard and that they do have their inventory online so, no wasted trips.

I think a cover charge is b******t. It's a salvage yard, not a nightclub.
