Hi, mounting my steering box on my k member 65 Satellite)
Noticed 1- hole on left was threaded , 2- on other side were not, just 2- holes, Checked my 70 Ebody and they had nuts welded to the back side?
Was this the norm with early k members?
Can I use nuts and lock washers behind this 2- locations
Any thoughts

Seems as though your missing your nuts, (no disrespect intended)! So just use some nuts and lock washers and you'll be fine.

At some point they may have come off, who knows, but you'll be fine with some nuts and lock washers.
