I survived a 500/1,000 year flood like Kentucky has seen, but they have seen it TWICE! No potable water, no electricity, mosquitos, and the stink. I'll never forget the stink as we shoveled our way out. The Salvation Army showed up the next day bringing us food and clothing. They stayed for the rest of the summer working with us.

President Biden is there today bringing help and promising to improve the infrastructure wherever repairs are made.

I hope everything turns out ok, y’all are more then welcome to bring the excess water to Texas, we need it badly! Stay safe!

It's been bad and there is little to do but hang on. Not a mile from me, entire strip malls were under 2 to 3 feet of water. My town was one of the worst hit in the country. Places that have never had floods were hit. We got 12 inches of rain in hours, not days. I hope all will be well!!
