Shoot, man...I can be a contender in that contest.I like turtles. (and mopars) Can we get back to making fun of my welds please?
Shoot, man...I can be a contender in that contest.
On Sunday, I ran out of MIG wire so I grabbed a roll that had some left to it. The welds fizzed and popped even worse than usual. I figured it was Flux Core instead of the copper solid stuff I now use.
The guy at the welding supply house confirmed it. The flux core wire is silver in color to identify it.
I really need to take a welding class or get some qualified person stand over me to show me what I am doing wrong.
Years back I watched a YouTube video of a guy buffing out the clearcoat on a car. Instantly I saw what I was doing wrong for years!
Grind work...Yeah, me too.
In wood framing, we expect to have to go back and plane crooked studs, pad out low spots and generally "tune up" everything so it looks good once the sheetrock goes on.
I see some welds that people make and feel like mine are the work of a blind guy.
....he wanted to do it, for Randolph Scott.
....and here I thought a grinder was an easy date? (always have us for a grinder....hehe)
