Was/still hot.Second this is a steel hulled sailboat.... The woman in the picture did all the welding to build the boat when she was in her twenties... She and her husband have been around the world on the boat, twice.... And are still sailing.... View attachment 1002612View attachment 1002613

Your neighbor told me you're still grinding your welds.
The exhaust pipe weld was just for practice awhile back. It was done by my son's girlfriend who has never welded anything before. She saw me welding up patch panels and asked if she could try it. I showed her how to use the MIG and then let her run a few beads on some scrap steel. Then we gave her this exhaust pipe and let her go to town. Most of us know how difficult exhaust pipe can be to weld. First time out, what can you say, the girl missed her calling. She had a blast doing it.
