Some TIG (home built DANA case spreader)

I bought a square wave TIG machine (Lincoln 200) a couple years ago.

The exhaust pipe weld was just for practice awhile back. It was done by my son's girlfriend who has never welded anything before. She saw me welding up patch panels and asked if she could try it. I showed her how to use the MIG and then let her run a few beads on some scrap steel. Then we gave her this exhaust pipe and let her go to town. Most of us know how difficult exhaust pipe can be to weld. First time out, what can you say, the girl missed her calling. She had a blast doing it.

Now you guys are just showing off. I do the put to much on and grind it to just the right look method. I'm so bad that all my fabricating had to be tack by me and a friend would stop by and do the welding for me. He was good, he could weld water!!

Heard someone say “ those welds look like Ray Charles welded then with his feet”

Second this is a steel hulled sailboat.... The woman in the picture did all the welding to build the boat when she was in her twenties... She and her husband have been around the world on the boat, twice.... And are still sailing....
