So the 73 Charger I picked up, the owner sent me a bunch of photos. Some are from 1973 even, when the car was brand new (note even the dealer plates). I thought it was super neat to see these and get a sense of history with the vehicle.

its a neat thing when you can trace back history with your car.

Cute little lady hanging out with the car. I’ll bet she’s still a Mopar lover.....

And she would be in her 40's now

that's cool to get

------------------------------------------------------------

I was playing detective one day, I was bored :poke:
I tried to get ahold of the org. owner of my 68 RR RM23 in LL1
I found a copy of the org. reg./owners address
the car went to his kid later, org. owner he had passed away,
with no new contacts, he was sort of a loner...

I'm the 3rd owner, if all the stories are true Dec. 2005

I actually drove to the address, in rural Rio Linda (N. of Sacramento)
it was close in Ca., when I was living in Rancho Murieta
some 25 or so miles away, in the valley, early 2006, March maybe...

I did talk to his neighbor, he said he remembered the car well
the guy was a carpenter & drove it daily, he allegedly pampered it...
Always parked it in the car port, wiping it down with a diaper etc.

I asked about the crease in the side, how it happened ?
he said that was the kid, who did it & not the org. owner,
but no real details...
The kid didn't pamper it,
it was left out & driven hard put away wet !!
When I got her, it was in primer, sort of rough, needed some TLC
great org. interior too, rough Road wheels, but all there, with 67k miles
"allegedly org. miles"

Neighbor, He had also said "if he ran across any old photos
that had them he'd contact me"...

I've not heard anything since...

I thought it was pretty cool to get some background on the car
it was from so close to where I was
& how the car never left Ca. or the immediate area
(until I moved some 120 miles away to Sonora)
