Lambo crash at Disney Exotic driving experience.

"Sgt. Kim Montes said in an incident report that Watson failed to maneuver the high-powered vehicle through the Exotic Driving Experience course."

Looks like a clear cut case of a high performance car and a low performance driver.

He was an instructor mate! ;)

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A 36-year-old driving instructor was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash at the Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway.
Tavon Watson, 24, of Kissimmee, was driving Gary Terry, 36, of Davenport, in a Lamborghini during an automotive experience at 3:30 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
While trying to maneuver through the course, Watson lost control of the car, causing it to leave the racetrack and strike a guardrail, an FHP report said.

The instructor was the passenger.

Clearly we need to outlaw all high performance vehicles and limit all others. If we outlawed this it clearly would not have happened.

End of story.

That's even worse then. How does a venue like this not run the correct safety equipment? Surely they would have had to check this for insurance etc.

You take your street car out on a race track and crash it. What can you say, **** happens. Like I said; high performance car with a low performance driver. Even an instructor in the passenger seat couldn't cure that.

Yeah but this is Richard Petty event, it's a business. Surely there are laws or maybe this was handled with one of those waivers I have seen in the US?

Certainly not the best termination of a guardrail that I've ever seen. It's just a spear hanging out there ...

I drove that circuit last year in one of the "Nascar" cars - and I noticed that guardrail termination too.

We have a photo of the dead instructor but not of the driver???

Of course you sign a waiver for everything you do in this country......I sign waivers when I go to some car shows!
