I heard something the other night
couldn't find it
something like the initial report was only 3 pages long

the report on the shooting in the elementary school in Mass.
was like 400+ pages long after the 1st day

It's Nevada after all, it's a totally union state/town,
cover up ???, is totally possible,
maybe to save or cover their own asses, or incompetence ????

it's been funny business there, since it started in the 30-40's

still have some vested interests, protecting their turf/real-estate,

I'm glad you guys reopened this thread cuz I've been here for 10 years now and I can see the place from my work area and it still creeps me out a lot I don't know how an old fart that used Valium would have the energy to pull that Off Alone and I thought the autopsy report would be an indicator if his shoulder was raw from holding a rifle against it for that long through that many rounds
 
Kind of ironic how now just today the news is they've reached a settlement the MGM with the victims
 
One man guns down hundreds of people. One man for a week carries up stairs and elevator enough guns and ammo for a small army and nobody see anything. One man able to reload and keep shooting and his body doesn't show are mark on it. One man in a room for a week and never gets a surprise visit from a maid. How does one man do all that I have to wonder. What was the true story was it for gun control. was it for another 9 11 deal or now that it's been two years it's been looked at in every way possible but yet nobody knows anymore than from the day it happened. Just curious how one man got this done. It will go down in history like jfk deal and twenty years from now something will pop up.
 
Huge tragedy. With $800 million being paid out by MGM the pain still persists. No amount of $$ can compensate those victims for what they went thru.
 
I hope the shooter at least suffered a bit and is rotting in hell.
 
Since this has been resurrected I feel compelled to comment. But before I do, let me provide some context as to where my comments come from;

I know people who were at the concert and in fact an Army buddy of mine and his wife were there, she was hit and died in his arms. I have been a sniper and sniper instructor for over 30 years having shot many weapons out to distances of 2000 meters. I have shot from many platforms, specifically helicopters to include Huey's, Blackhawks, CH46, CH47, and CH53's.

I cannot say that someone wasn't conclusively shooting from a helo but I highly doubt it. If you have ever been to Vegas you know helos are in the air pretty much 24/7. The second video shows a helo with what looks to me to be the normal AC marker lights. I would think that if you were going to commit this type of crime using a helo you would black it out or at least turn off the lights during the event. That said, shooting accurately from a helo is exceptionally hard, granted with the large crowd accuracy is not really needed but it is not like in the movies.

As to the guy in the hotel, I am very confident that he did not act alone, I am also confident that he had a motive. Why this has been so close hold is a mystery but one only has to follow the money. I have no idea why that POS did what he did but there is definitely a reason/motive, the real question is why is the information being suppressed? I would guess that it has little to do with the a government conspiracy (as to the conduct of the shooting) and a lot more to do with minimizing lawsuits and protecting the hotel. I do believe that the shooter was radicalized and that is being suppressed.

What really amazes me is how this one guy got all this **** up to his hotel room without issue. I went to the SHOT show for over 20 years (12 of which as an employee of a major gun company) and the hotels had big signs at check in that guns could not be in the rooms. Vegas as a whole had a "no guns" policy in the casino and in the rooms.

Definitely some cover up going on but I don't think it is as cloak and dagger as some would want you to believe.
 
FBI closed the case with a 3-page report that never determined a motive. who in there right mind would believe this report...
