Are the lower ball joints pressed in? These suckers won't come out. beating on it with a pickle fork, no luck. Well using a hammer on the pickle fork....lol
PS: I'm pretty sure I just banged the lowers out w/ a hammer and when I installed the new ones, they just "seated in" when threading in the bolt.
(I've done two sets of K-members with suspension so far)

Try hitting the lower control arm where the ball joint passes through a couple of times.The shock will normally release the tension on the ball joint taper.Follow with the fork again if needed.

A pickel fork is really meant to be used on tie rods.
Try this: Use two hammers. One on one side of the LCA where the tapered ball joint stud goes thru, and hit the other side, opposite of the other hammer.

The stationary hammer helps transfer the energy into the LCA loosening the stud. Kinda like using a hammer and dolly when doing bodywork.
The socket I have for the UCA ball joints is Snap-On S9365A. They screw out.
