I have a modified (PO) 67' coronet 500. I have 4 leaf springs per side on it. Does anyone know how many were on these from factory?

It depends on the engine. I just looked this up for someone else for the 426 and 440 engines. Four leaf sound correct for a 318. I'd have to go back to the spring shop if you want exact. For the 426/440 it was 7 on the pass side and 6 on the drivers side. Looking at the bottom of your post, I'd say that you should consider those springs.

Does the car have a LSD (SureGrip) in it? What do the black marks look like when you get on it? Does the passenger side look like only the middle of the tread of the tire is laying down a mark?

8 3/4 suregrip 3.91 gears. Both sides lay good equal rubber. This car (I believe) originally had a small block because the fender emblem is the V8. This car was raced so I'm thinking they left it with 4 leaf to get a good squat off the line?

Equal length rubber is good....how about the width of the rubber patch? Is the right side a bit lighter in color along the edges and the driver side a bit darker along the outer edges?

My Hemi RT came with 8 springs on Passenger side and 6 on Driver. With Battery Mounted in Trunk. I believe Ws is correct on 440 being 6/7

Damn , guess I gotta beef em up. Thanks everyone.
