leaf spring relocation.

66-67 B-body, I can say nope. Leaf spring shackle I believe hits the lips on both sides of the tank.

Al, sliders are the option to avoid that issue or modify the tank if you really want shackles.

67 RT. I don't want to run a cell and since I'm in the process of installing a sump on my tank I rather keep it.

I am always trying to understand things I read about here so here it goes, how exactly do sliders work and how would that help in this situation? Thanks, Al

the eye of the rear of the leaf spring will have a bushing through it that has the outer ends captured in a slider bracket welded to the frame rail. No shackles hanging down to interfere with the tank. The eye slides forwards and back as the spring compresses or unloads. They also help some with lateral racking of the suspension while cornering and full power drag take offs.
