Lets see them station wagons

This is my friend Rodney's Grand Fury wagon. It's called "5300". That's how much it weighs with him behind the wheel in race trim. It's runs 12.60s down the 1350 and 8.40s in the 660. It's gotta stock bore and stroke 440 with 250 casting iron heads, 10.1 compression ratio and a fairly mild hydraulic cam. Good parts choices, boys. Rodney's been doin this over thirty years. This car is proof that anything can be fast. It's a damn fun car, too.

Sounds good. 12.60s in the 1350 huh? Must be even faster in the 1/4 mile, 1320 :)

hahaha

Damn neat wagon...sounds like some compression to me tho....

Yeah sorry for the typo. lol Naw, it's a true 10.1 motor. It runs pump gas on the street but he uses cam2 on the strip.

Regarding post 2 and 3 (the blue Valiant wagon) my father in 1963 ordered a silver 1964 Valiant wagon with a slant six and a four on the floor. It came from the factory with a Hurst shifter! It had red upholstery. That thing would lay rubber like there was no tomorrow!

There was a guy on ebay that was selling two of the nine Pontiac versions of the Holden Ute (base for last GTO) that were brought to the US for a test market. IIRC, one sold for 20K and the other didn't sell.

Just stumbled on this one.

Very tasteful IMO.
