letter replacing

Concerning tail light letters anyone successfully replace the letters on the lens ? I have several lens and want to make the best I can out of them via changing better letters on to the better lens etc....Any thoughts on procedure ? thanks in advance

That sounds like a good idea, if it will work.
Another idea if you have a good lens except for being cracked is to use this.
I did it with good results.
I used Teflon tape of keep it where it needed to be till it set up.
Won't stick to the tape.
This PTFE tape with silicone adhesive is handy stuff to have on the shelf anyway.
We used it on airplanes to pull wire into existing harnesses.
Slick stuff with no adhesive residue.

Thanks for the idea, fortunately I have several lens that are beyond fix, so can work on removing and re attaching on them
