Lift off hood & door hinge questions Help!

Hey I was wondering if anyone has had any expeirence (fit,quality etc)with the MAS fiberglass lift of/ six pack hoods. I have heard good and bad so I dont know. That company went out of business but there supplier is still making them and seem to be a reasonable priced option to the 6-7 hundred doller hoods. Anyone ?? Also I need a new hinge for my 1969 project as after much frustration not getting the door and front fender to not rub only to discover someone had put a passenger door hing in place of a driver door hinge. So I ordered a driver side one off e-bay and the guy sent me another passenger door hinge he said they look the same to me, yep they do only one has the pin going up and one going down. Does any one know if I take out the pin and put it i going the other way will this work? Or any body have an extra hinge out there in b-body land the one in the pic is the one I need? :yes: Thanks for reading my post!

They are the same hinge flipped side to side. A trick to "fix" a sagging drivers door is to get the top hinge from a passenger's door and use it.

Done it several times..............

My body guy has not been able to get the door and fender adjusted so they dont rub togeather with the one that is on there that I just put new pins and bushings in. Before the rebuilding of the hinges it was sagging majorly with the passanger side hinge. Maybe the e-bay p-side hinge I just picked up would work better than the one I rebuilt? :yes:I appreciate your insite,in looking I think its possbile the one that was on there we rebuild might have came off another body style like a-body or something. we are going to try using the new/used/e-bay purchase p side one and see how that works.
