Hello fellow Mopar people. My daily Mopar is a 2023 Plum Crazy Challenger Scat Pack. Her name is Bonita, and I bought her new and I absolutely adore her. But directly related to this forum, I recently purchased a 1964 Polara project and I am very excited to get her fixed up. The stock 383 has been replaced with a 400cui and an MSD ignition system and who knows how many other modifications. I am going to attempt as much DIY as possible, but it is very intimidating. Other than the very basics, I know nothing about working on old Mopars or automobiles in general. I have started reading and educating myself and boy is it overwhelming, but little by little I guess. The amount of knowledge in this community is incredible, and I hope to learn as much as possible.

Welcome from MN! 64 Polara is an excellent choice. Learn and enjoy as you go. This site is a wealth of knowledge that I use as I make changes/updates to my 64 440. Don't be intimidated. Use the different forum sections to ask any questions.

Welcome! Let's see that baby!! My daughter races a 64 at our track.

Thanks everyone. Here is a picture of my girl.

You came to the right place a wealth of knowledge,
mostly helpful & mostly friendly & lots of sarcasm here too :poke:
when asking questions
give as much pertinent information to start with, less back & forth

maybe use the search tab above right on every page
see if the question or subject has been asked before
may help you & others too, to contribute

1st;
I'd highly suggest;
get to know your car, what stuff is called, simple knowledge
1st get a Factory Service Manual (model Dodge Polara & year 1964 specific) if you can
there is a tone of stuff in them that is great info
& some detailed photos or schematics too
not a bad Idea for the 23 Scat Pack Challenger either
some online for free for the olders cars

try MyMopar in their tools & reference section

2nd;
read the forum rules, especially if looking for or buying parts
then find the proper forum & ask away/post away
