hey guys i finally joined im normally on FABO
i might be getting a 65 coronet 500 is there any problem areas in these cars in which im sure there is
this coronet seems to be very original and solid it has a 318 poly automatic which i assume a 727 it also has a console
i'll be trading my daily driver for it and i'll be using the coronet as my new daily driver
the owner of it tells me there is a slight exhaust leak do the poly manifolds have a tendency of cracking

welcome to fbbo, check the cowl and shine a light under dash above drivers feet. Mine was good except it leaked water on my feet. I guess from leaves collecting in there.

is it a sign? today i scrambled getting my dart running better in order to trade as it was running hot and the guy with the coronet said he would be willing to meet half way which was a 2hr drive one way. well i fixed the dart got it running at 160* whew!! drove down there to do the trade and he was a no show . so i called him come to find out his broke down nothing major i think its the ballast box as it will turn over but not fire left him stranded 45 miles away from home he's gonna figure it out tonight and get it fixed this time he's driving the whole distance tomorrow. cause i know mine will make it now so hopefully tomorrow i'll be getting it
