Hey,

Im looking for a cam with the same specs as the one I have. And I dont really want to use comp anymore as the one I have is already delaminating the coating off. Specs are below looking for something that is not going to give me any issues.

Exactly what lifters are those?

My first impression is that the lifters aren’t tracking 100% true.

Was the cam thrust clearance set to around .010” or less?

Heads/rockers/spring pressures?

This one looks like there’s some spalling going on:
(Looks to be some discoloration from heat, I’m thinking the wheel was skidding, which I look at as a lifter failure)

i think it's contaminants in the oil. maybe something is falling apart on the inside or just put together dirty. i don't see tracking issues, but my old eyes aren't what they use to be. i do get leary about peoples setting end play methods.

It looks like the bearing/wheel on that one lifter was not real happy looking at the wear pattern across the face of the lifter (not the scratches around the circumference of the wheel).
