Hello fellow Moparites/Moparidians/Moparganders, I'm new to the classic car game, I know enough to swap out parts and do basic repairs(which is pretty easy on these cars) but I'm joining this forum to get some more info and basically have some other gear heads to bounce ideas off and get suggestions. I have a 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring 318. I got it as a wedding present from my father-in-law. It was all original when he got it off the side of the road. He put some shackles on the rear suspension mostly so he could put big tires on the back, hand painted it with a roller(yea he's a duct tape guy) and replaced the plugs and wires to get it running then gave it to me. So it was almost completely original when I got it. I have since upgraded from the stock carb to a 4 barrel 600cfm carb along with a new intake manifold. I've also replaced the distributor cap and master cylinder out of need. Oh yea, and there was a slight wiring issue, slight as in fire under the dash and I had to replace the fuse box and 75% of the wiring. You can thank old daddy-in-law and his aluminum foil solution to the short for that
ops: Next step is tearing out the useless A/C. I live in the U.P. of Michigan, we wouldn't need it if it worked. Then better exhaust. This car is rough right now but it has so much potential. 0 rust on the body and 46000 miles on it. I hope you guys can help me turn this baby into something special!!!
