Does anyone know the Cam stop code for the 426 hemi versus the 440 or 440 6pack motors for 1969 cars? I have a few loose cam stops and I am trying to decipher the stamp code.
For example, top has B and bottom LU. This cam stop is in a Big Block DP.
I also have some with A or AA.
I am really after information from a Prestolite book, or someone who knows their distributor is original. Too many rebuilds and Frankenstein build ones being passed off as hemi.
The 69 parts book shows a different part number for the cam stop between engines and for some reason does not have the specific info on the 69 6pack 440 parts. Thank you,
