I want to put a considerably better quality 727 pan gasket of my car. I have gone through two of the cheap rubber ones. They are terrible, both leaked with only a few hours of runtime. I had checked and straightened the pan and mating surface prior to installation. I really want something that is going to seal this time. I see several that seem to be better engineered, the Lube-Locker and the Mopar Performance P3690855.

Any input or experience, good or bad ?

I have been using the factory 46 RE pan gasket from the Chrysler dealer. Same as the 727.
The have the metal inside to keep it from being over torqued. They say they are reusable.
I never took the pan off again. I Used a Moroso reusable, once. The blue one. It leaked..

I've been reusing that gasket on the pan of my 2001 Ram for 20 years. I've had it off and back on for service almost every year with no leaks. It's the same one the factory put on it in March of 2000 when the truck was assembled.
