Door jamb cut in complete and (1) 20 gallon tank ready to roll. Doors go back on tomorrow. That seals the car back after now 10 months of worrying about the weather.

Antenna delete, doors back on the hinges. Long time coming and she is now dry.

Nice father and son project. Good to see the youngsters getting into the classic muscle cars. Looks great so far. I hope my daughter and I can do one someday. I really like that dash cluster.

She is not done, she is not there; But (1) year to the date of delivery, she took 440 hp back on her K frame. Big milestone for my crew.
Lot of motor for a little hole. Rock and roll.

Into the paint booth. The plan is epoxy, (2) passes of high build, blocking, and then final. Sounds like 3 or 4 hard weekends.

Meat has hit the ground. SST got some TKX’s inbound so it comes this week. Paint, tranny, driveshaft; 4 weeks we are driving.

Will be interested in your tkx experience. I really dislike the tko in my charger even though I supposedly have the good parts from sst.

Would love to hear your issues. My research really did not turn up any known quirks but the guy that rebuilt my NV4500 handles TKO's also on the rebuild. He stated that there were some upgrades that he includes that make it a better platform. I assume the TKX is that change. Do to covid and all the delays I really searched for other overdrive B Body options and could not come up with anything viable. The Tremec magnum 6 speed gets you there, but it is major surgery to make it fit including torsion bar mounts and box frames.
For the record I got the narrow ratio which gives a 2.78 first gear, .68 OD and running a 3.55 sure grip in the rear. On paper, this looks like a great street driver.
