Ive looked at all the links for fender tags and still am stumped as to what it all means, seems Lynch road tags are different from the others. I had to remove mine and turn it over to be able to make out all the stamping. From what ive found this is what I believe it had originally, 383 4 barrell with 4 speed manual. B5 blue with B5 trim. High back blue bench seat. Jamaica blue interior door frames( whatever that means). White vinyl top. I was told the gears are 3.55 and I know its a posi as both wheels turn same direction when off the ground.

Here is a link to an online decoder I have used before. I'm sure there are others out there too. B5 with B7 interior and a white top sure would be sharp.

The 925-503-603 are the lynch rd driveline codes, the above sequence of numbers are gate codes

593= 8 3/4” 3:23 SA (standard axle, no Suregrip) 11” drums, 489 center section, 7290 yoke

603= a833 4 speed, 383/4bbl engine

925= 383-4bbl

I'm glad someone else smarter than me chimed in. That will help me figure out my Lynch Rd tag too thank you !

Thank you, ive been pouring over the codes, I misspoke of the axle being a posi, oh dreaded gm term lol. Some things have been changed, removed. The current transmission is a 3 speed auto 727 for a small block. Previous owner says rear end is 3.55 sure grip. When I get the rear wheels off the ground and spin them they spin in same direction.

these resources can help and are part of the data I use when creating them

Thank you! Every site i visited had incomplete info on these lynch road tags, that is a very good resource. From what ive gathered the early tags had some differences from the latter made tags. Most original equipment is gone unfortunately. Above the color code I have a single 1 W which I thought signified a white vinyl top, it definitely had a vinyl top I have trim holes and a couple trim pieces. After having 3 blue vehicles in a row I wasn't considering B5 blue but it sure is a sharp color. Seems odd that a high trim model would have a bench seat, but that is the code. Also had factory air according to this sticker, must have been an add on under dash as no controls for it on the dash.
