Making progress on the 440 for the '64 Fury

Paint color may be off some. I tried a dupont recipe and it is greener than the original faded paint.

I used Mopar Performance turquoise engine paint bought from Mancini racing.

That is a mile off from what the original color was on mine. That looks like early Chrysler blue. The Turquoise I think changed from day to day in 1966. It seems to run the gamut of blue to green and everything in between. Here is the color I was shooting for.

This was mine using POR. mixed per instructions. I think it's very close.

I've had good luck with por-15 engine paint on some o.t. Ford flat head and nameless other motors over the last couple of years. Seemed to even keep some of the gloss on some that where "drivers". Hope to holds up as well on my 493. As far as color goes , it looks great.
