Guys, does anyone know the thread pitch on a manual steering column?
I do know that it's larger than the one on a power steering column or a column that has the shifter on it.
I'm rebuilding my column and the ends of the thread are a little buggered and I'd like to run a die on it to clean them up.

I assume you're talking about the threads up top on the main shaft that secure the steering wheel correct?
Just measured mine. 7/16 -14 fine .4050 pitch?

I think its bigger than that.
I measured the power steering column threads and got this.

Then I measured the manual steering threads and got this.

I would assume they are a 9/16UNF thread?

Turns out the thread size is the 9/16-18 UNF.
I was able to get a die and handle from my brother.
The whole job took less than a minute.
Cleaned up the threads all nicey nicey.....
