1969 Charger. Previous owner converted the car from power brakes to manual. Now has A-body front discs/calipers (if that sounds right), stock rear drums (I plan to swap to disc, very soon), and a manual prop valve. I have a receipt for some kinda of "manual brake master cylinder adapter". That's all I know about what's been changed. I don't know these cars well enough to know what is supposed to be on the car, so please explain everything to me like I'm 5yrs old LOL.
What *exactly* do I need to go back to power brakes?
Is there anything else that would have been done during the power -> manual conversion that will be a problem now?
Will the A-body discs up front work with the B-body booster, etc?
Is the cost worth it?
Will it be easy enough to stop with the rear discs that I won't need to worry about any of this?
I don't mind driving with the manual brakes, but I'd just like the car to be a bit less work to drive. My friend is 5'0"... she would also appreciate it being easier to stop. LOL.
