1969 Charger. Previous owner converted the car from power brakes to manual. Now has A-body front discs/calipers (if that sounds right), stock rear drums (I plan to swap to disc, very soon), and a manual prop valve. I have a receipt for some kinda of "manual brake master cylinder adapter". That's all I know about what's been changed. I don't know these cars well enough to know what is supposed to be on the car, so please explain everything to me like I'm 5yrs old LOL.

What *exactly* do I need to go back to power brakes?
Is there anything else that would have been done during the power -> manual conversion that will be a problem now?
Will the A-body discs up front work with the B-body booster, etc?
Is the cost worth it?
Will it be easy enough to stop with the rear discs that I won't need to worry about any of this?

I don't mind driving with the manual brakes, but I'd just like the car to be a bit less work to drive. My friend is 5'0"... she would also appreciate it being easier to stop. LOL.

I’m not really following your post above. What does the car have now? What’s in the front? Discs or drums? What’s in the back? Discs or drums? What do you want in the front? Discs or drums? What do you want in the back? Discs or drums? What parts do you currently have?

The adapter is probably a piece of aluminum between the firewall and master that allows you to go from 4 bolts to 2 bolt master.
You should probably look at the FSM to see if the PO changed the brake stuff under the dash to non power.
You should read the disco tech article to understand your ungrade that appears to have been done to your car. Someone can probably post a link

73 up A body type disc setup is probably the most common disc brake conversion there is. Dr Diff will have a power booster and the proper linkage for your car. Google Dr Diff to go to his website.

Your going to need a power brake booster and master cylinder. The manual brake master cylinder adapter is nothing more than an attachment point for the manual master cylinder. The internal lines in the master cylinder will be different size for power and non power brakes. Thats important. That affects how hard you have to apply brake pedal pressure. The actual brakes themselves dont care if power or manual. Won't have to do anything with those. A body disc will be fine.
Dr. Diff is the expert and he will have everything you need for the conversion
