So how hard could it be to move/fabricate a new trans mount?

Easy. Mine though push button uses a readily available S-10 mount and a modded trans cross member.

Ok...let me try another angle....Lets say I rebuild my 65 727 trans. and just do the work to remove the manual valve body and keep the stock steering column shifter. How do I get the slop out of the shifter? It is so loose that sometimes the neutral safety wont work in park and I have to shift to neutral to start. Then, when up shifting, it wont catch second, but will on the down shift....does anyone sell a rebuild kit for the shifter and how hard is it to do???
