Married for almost 7 year's now time's fly no kids ( neither of us can have kid's ) but i belive that's the reason God put us toghether I deeply love my wife (sometimes I want to strangle her but who doesn't ) and i want to get old with her the love of my life

Where widowed or widower ?

I lost the real love of my life when I was 38 back in 1997
RIP Lisa

I have a kind of long distance girlfriend Honey
down in Rancho Murieta off & on now, pretty much since 2001,
we have a great relationship, with no real plans of marriage either...
I works for US, we're happy, for now anyway...
Like Hawk said Bud, RIP Lisa.......Now Forever

Okay earlier I said my wife doesn't care much about cars.. and she doesn't. But reading these reminded me of this story when I was first looking for a charger.

I told her the year I wanted (68) and what it was, showed her a couple pictures. Now she is not a car person.. I mean she has trouble distinguishing between a ford and a honda. One day she says "I think I found your car!". I said oh yeah, she says yeah I took a different route through the country home from work. I say okay thinking she saw some pos chevy and forget about it. About a week later we're out driving and she mentions it again and I say okay, let's go take a look. So I'm expecting probably a beat up nova or monte carlo. Lo and behold it's a 70 charger rotting away next to a barn. I mean.. it's wasn't 68, but damn she spotted a no-sh!t 2nd gen charger in a field about 50 yards from the road in the middle of nowhere. It was one of my proudest moments. (I think that thing is still there too)

30 years this July... best decision I ever made!

35 years to two different women. 5 years the first time and should have stayed single when the papers were final. Thought I was doing good waiting till I was 28 and playing the field until finding the right one. Yeah right. I knew the second one since 1970 and we got married right after my divorce was final from the first one. Ya just don't know who they are until you eat that damn cake. Can't afford a stock split now anyways so I guess I'll stick around lol

My dad, his footsteps I did NOT follow was married 8 times as far as my present wife and I could count. And yes, I called him Henry the 8th. His name was Henry so it fit. The last step mom was probably the best and well, he never told her how many times he had been married and one day she asked us and we just told her we weren't sure lol. Let by gones be bygones. She wasn't exactly an angel herself. Even though dad was her first husband, she was a 'kept' woman for 40 years before dad came along. That guy paid for everything and was in love with her but she wasn't in love with him but continued to let him pay her bills and buy her cars. So, I guess dad tried it a few times lol. Btw, dad was married to my mom, his first marriage, for 17 years until she passed away. He didn't start dating until a couple of years later and then just went nuts I guess.....played the feel for sure but man, why marry the field!?

I have several sisters & a brother & my ol' Pops
were all married 3 times min. each...

I wasn't going to be in that category ever, 3 time losers...
Sorry, that's certainly not to say all divorcée's are losers...
If the hat fits than wear it...LOL

I wasn't a hermit by any stretch, I dated my share...
I just didn't marry everyone of them that touched my Johnson thou...LOL

I'm happy the way it is now, I don't need someone to complete my life...
It didn't work out the way I planned either, by any stretch,
but if life gives you lemons, then make lemonade...
I made the best of it & I raised 4 kid
{blended family, I adopted hers, their fathers were nonexistent}
& also my niece & nephew my sister/bro-inlaw was in the AF
& traveled a ton, was rarely home...
So I raise them pretty much buy myself {4 girl 2 boys}...
It was tough, especially the girls in their teens, they were a breeze when they were
little & the boys were hard when young, really easy in their teens...
HS was a pain in the arse, logistics nightmare, with all the sports events,
after school stuff teens all do etc.,
With me racing a ton & working 60-70 hrs a week sometimes, nonstop excitement,
they loved going to the track too, it was a family affair...LOL
But I wouldn't have it any other way now...
It made them & me the persons we all are today...

They all came out relatively well...LOL

thanks everyone for the kind words, enough about me

back on topic now
