I just bought a 69 Charger with a 383 about a month ago and need to take on a few projects, probably a third member swap first. Problem is I'm not that mechanical but am interested in learning. Is there anyone in or around Chicago that wouldnt mind helping me out and showing me the ropes? I'd travel to you and be willing to pay cash or beer whatever your preference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I havent found the third member yet, so if anyone has or knows anyone with a 3:91 rear end please let me know. Thanks.

1st off welcome to the FBBO forum, sounds like a great project, try posting in the welcome wagon, or parts wanted sections you may get more responses... Mancini Racing or Dr Diff , both have complete assembled ready to go 3rd members for sale... There's always Craigslist or E-Scam {E-Bay}...

Welcome to the site. Good to see another Mopar owner. Sounds like a nice project. I'm currently working on a '68 Charger. Your 69 would be very similar to mine, and share lots of the same parts. I'm from NW Indiana, if you need some help or advice, I would be glad to help out if I can. I am not a mechanic or expert, just enjoy working on them.

Welcome to the site! Too bad you're not in AZ- I'd be all over that Charger like a fat boy on peach pie! Seriously, be glad to help any way possible, just a few keystrokes away.
