Medal of Honor

What I want to know, is why in Hell did it take so long to award it to him. Maybe I'm missing something there.

God bless these soldiers that haven't been recognized and there's many more.

Reading the article, the White House even honored a Civil War veteran. Talking about being over due.

Sorry but I can't help thinking that this is a way to get someone another "feather in his hat". Someone who is losing more "feathers" every day...

Kid,thats a lousy way of looking at things. Do your homework and see how and who makes the call who gets the medal of honor. Other than that lets keep politics out of it

It is all politics. Kid you hit the nail on the head about this worthless administration.

Glad the soldiers finally got recognized.

any one that's served knows there's a system some times its really slow they just don't give them to anyone.thank you.

Yeah, it's like "hurry up and wait"! But kid did hit the nail as far as I'm concerned.

Never miss a chance to knock the POTUS under any circumstances. If it was Bush a draft doger you'd be reaping praise all over him. I posted this in appreciation for the men and woman who serve you turn it into politics as usual. Sad really sad

Sgt Adkins is the role model for the American soldier. He demonstrates why we are the best country in the world, and why we stand up for our beliefs. He may be stooped with age, and no longer the young soldier he once was, but his shoulders were at the 45 degree mark the whole time...what an amazing man.

Glad he finally got his due award/medal

it is awarded not won . just saying. just glad he got it wile he is still alive.thank you.

My old First Sgt. earned the Medal of Honor when he was with the 101st in Vietnam. He used to always tell our CO in a jokingly manner that it would take an "act of Congress" to bust him down a pay grade or two. His name is Robert M. Patterson. He always told us that he wore the Medal for those who could not. I thought it was cool that our Captain had to salute him first in formation.

He led us by example ALWAYS and to this day I still look to him as a role model.

These outstanding servicemen who have earned the CMH try to live their lives, both public and private, in a manner that does not reflect negativity, so as not to disgrace the award.

He had a nice 66 or 67 Olds 442 convertible that was white with a maroon colored interior back then, and was a car guy too. He is an honest down to earth man.

Thanks for sharing this link with us.

God bless America and all of it's men and women who wear the uniform to keep us free !!!!!!!

Freedom is not free.
