Mega-mat

Has anyone here tried the fatmat mega-mat? Supposedly a step above their other products..Getting ready to insulate but there have been some reports of stinky-no-go-away in hot environments with the non-butyl offerings...My car will see most driving in or near 100s not to mention resting in the 120-deg garage..thanks for your opinions!

I've done going on 3 cars with FatMat and it odorless...Ive heard that as well, I dont know what theyre smelling but I dont rhink it's the product... or about the Mega Mat.
Maybe another brand???

I used FatMat in my car as well. Still smells like a new car with that new leather interior. No smell from the mat at all. Don't know about MegaMat - not sure why it would be different.

Don't know about fatman. Some of the no-name(or un-known) brands do have a slight odor. Not bad but a faint smell like oil drip on a manifold.

Thanks for the replies, I'm also looking into 'second skin'...all butyl, no asphalt and still cheaper than dynamat...

I used Kno Knoise Kolossus edition it's really think an cheaper than dynamat plus no smell

Now that I think about it more closely it was Dynamat that I used not FatMat..... No smell at all.
