I'm starting this thread to see what other people have come across. My dad just had to have this 67 Biscayne and brought it home last year. It's a mess to say the least.

As you can probably see, they made a new dash over the original dash. The entire floor and dash was "upholstered" with 1/8" plywood panels and covering.

I had these wheels and tires laying around, so I put them on there to at least make it look a little better.

U'm seeeeeeeeeeeing some MAD skills being presented,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My satellite is pretty jacked up from the previous owner. Globs of fiberglass resin filled holes on the floor, triple green top, interior and (not a chrysler green but a glittery ghetto green) paint, crazy huge stick on ram air thing on hood, and was about to get some 24" rims put on it when I came and saved it. The only thing I've done so far was try and de ghetto it by replacing the jcwhitney stick on ramair thing on the hood for a Sixpack one and started changing the interior to black, but that's all I have done to it so far

I love the brake and clutch pedals welded together with the cross bar!

all I can say, is I MUCH rather get a project no one has touched than one an idiot has touched!!????

that's amazing work even for a chevy guy!

At least it's a 2dr post car and not a 4dr....and I think I could understand the pedals being welded together if it were an auto car being drag raced but even then, that wouldn't really be needed. Hope he didn't pay much for it.

that there is some redneck engineering...

The trunk had not been cut yet for the few hundred lbs of batteries and I am not refuring to electric car either?

Nope no batteries in the trunk. I wish I would've taken more pictures of it when I was gutting it. To wire the car from the front to the rear, they used a surge protector and some extension cords. Also they used a household vent for a speaker cover. The worst part is, they torched the nice original dash to make room for their glove box. Oh well, just an excuse to make an aluminum dash and door panels. I've always wanted to build a nascar replica and I think dad likes that idea.

Can't tell but the cup holders look like isolation pad bases for an AHU....why do you suppose there is a side marker light in the dash??? I did not notice the clutch and brake...maybe he thought on was for the left and the other for the right...skid steer.... Or maybe he was a farmer, my tractor can lock/ unlock left / right brakes for plowing ....??? And no it wasn't my car!!!!

I'll get some pictures tomorrow but I had the worst most jacked up project car ever . I bought this 47 Buick from a nice guy he had it on a lift so l got to see more then usual. Well it looked good we loaded it got home . I decided to start on the frame and drive line first . Once I was finish I started on the body witch didn't need much (I thought) so after I started digging this mother F- er fiberglassed over all the super bad rust then he body worked it to hide it and get it to look like metal. So after hours of chipping glass out, street signs ,and tons of tin and angle iron. Come to find out there was less good medal then rust and the rust was structural so I had to punt it and sell off anything I could to get my money back.
I ran into that dick who sold me the car I called him out he asked why I messed with it he already finished the body work on the car and it was almost ready for paint. I told him people like him shouldn't touch cars

yikes what a scary mess. Sounds like something my father would do. He's pretty good mechanically but clueless with bodywork. He would never try to sell it to someone however.
