Wondering if any other people have had a problem fitting new re-pop vent window glass on a B body with the original frame and having the new glass, with a gap at the bottom of the glass where it s fits into the pivoting piece . The new glass seems to have a little more of an up swing curve that leaves a gap when fitting the new glass to the frame with the rubber in place . Any answers would help. Thanks Mike

Hey bud....working on that new car? A lot of the repop glass is crap. One company wouldn't even sell me door glasses for my e-body ragtop. It seems they get the ouside shape correct, but seem to miss some of the compound curves. One friend said they don't let in cool enough, before the chi-coms remove it from the molds.

Welcome to the site....and you might get more replies to your question if you posted it in the right forum.

I replaced my vent window many years ago. If I read your question correctly I had and still have the exact problem you describe. There's a small curve at the bottom of the glass that leaves a very slight opening. I don't remember where or how I got the glass - but given how many years ago it was it may have been off a slightly different year or model of car. It is what it is and I'm not changing it. My car is not a concourse car and it barely shows.

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

I'd get them to replace the glass sounds to me like it was cut wrong
