Got out tonight to test with the back up converter. Maybe the converter that broke 2 weeks ago had been wounded earlier. Way easier to cut a light now. .010, -.009, -.002. Then lowered air pressure to slow R/T. .033. missed the tree -.025, then .017. Car ran 9.04. Removed the 40lb weight bar. 9.00, 8.99, 9.00, 8.99, 9.00, 9.00. Very happy.

That’s fantastic Doug and the good report is no surprise. I’m very interested to know more about the amount of air pressure change.

Very nice, and i'm glad to see Milan back up and running, i thought it might be gone this time. I hope it lasts.. They used to have the best hot dogs anywhere :)
I used to go there a lot.. my dream used to be to drag race when i was younger.

Now that's consistency!!!!
Have you, or do you run sun glasses?

Nice. Thanks for posting

I run brown lens sunglasses. Regular glasses at night. Good 1/8 mile bracket last night. 1st rd .000, That spooked me. .060 2nd rd. .016 3rd rd. .004 4th rd. Spooked again .068. That ended my night at the last 6 cars. 1/4 mile today in Stock S/S.

Good to see people making progress and going rounds. Got back from Anchor Bay earlier this week. Had thought about going to Milan just not enough time. Good luck to everyone.

I recall a thread a while back where you were convinced you were just rusty. May indeed have just been a damaged / inconsistent converter. Great to hear your out getting hits in.

Sunday turned out pretty well. Car is definitely easier to cut a light with. Started rd 1 with a .013 9.079 on a 9.03 dial. Tightened the stripe to .005. Rd 2 .029 9.086 on a 9.05. tightened the stripe to .008. Rd 3 laid back a little knowing my opponent. .046 9.114 on a 9.02 dial. Stripe a little loose at .014. Rd 4 ran into tough customer. Brett Saurbaugh's 67 427 stick Corvette A/S. He put up a .018 9.980 on a 9.98. I was .027 9.028 on a 9.03. Saw that I couldn't get there so i gave up the stripe by .007 Brett has had a great season. This win clinched the GLSSA Championship for him. All in all a great weekend. Made 21 passes. R/t average .0279. ET followed the weather. 60ft didn't vary much over .01.
Onward to the NMCA World finals at Indy next weekend.
