Mopar Alley NorCal Sunday, June 12, 2016

Anyone take any photos they can share ?

The De Anza site is nice. Traffic nearby is light, the spectator parking is generous and the entire site is as clean as you can imagine. I do prefer car shows on grass though. It is usually easier on the feet. The Mopar Alley guys did get a bunch of cars this year! Our Sacramento show usually has fewer cars but more swap meet and car corral vendors. The swap meet was better this year than last, good to see since everywhere else seems to be heading the other way. This years Van Nuys swap was down a bit, waaaay down from the 2011 event where they has swappers almost to the concrete wall!

I'm curious about a few things though. No hamburgers? The prices of the hot dogs were very fair though. Does the Mopar Alley club also suffer from the common car club dilemma where 8-10 dedicated members do MOST of the work every year? This is surely the case in Sacramento. After awhile it is easy to get fed up with doing everything while the slackers in the club sit on their fat asses.

Slacker here. Also, the shade provided by the solar panels makes for poor photos. We do however ensure good weather.

Oh come on...At a certain age the seasoned members deserve a pass.

Roger got a Trophy for his 70 Hemi-Orange 6 Pak Challenger. 12,000 original miles, was a race car campaigned by Spartan Dodge in San Jose.
