Truth be told. The owner of the Roadrunner I just purchase didn't have the title. It was his fathers who purchased it from someone else. Titles never transferred. Big mess. Here is Louisiana. I have to provide a bill of sale with VIN,inspection of the car by my parish Public Safety Officer,and a notarized affidavit stating I'm a member of a car club. All that so I can have title transferred to my name.

Ah.....the plot thickens!
