mopar k frame

i picked up a k frame with round coins a round coin with 79 was tack welded on top of another coin that is stamped 90 k frame does have a smaller version skid plate. Skid plate seems to look factory weld. any thoughts thanks sjm

The welds actually look too good to be factory done. It's an impostor.

The front suspension cross member, or K-member, for 1970 B-bodies with 318 or 383 is part number 2962090, identification tag "90".

The K-member for 1970 B-bodies with 440 and skid plate is part number 3466479, identification tag "79".

The factory modified 2962090 to produce a 3466479 appears like the pictured K-member.
