I just ordered three years of Mopar Muscle but wondered if some of the other literature out there was better in your opinion.

Haven't got any of them in years now... Use to get Mopar Muscle & Mopar Action {among may others}, IMHFO Mopar Action had better tech articles... Mopar Muscle has better pitchers & high end, high $$$ builds & cars... I'm not sure how many of the ones listed are even still in publication either... I don't get any anymore...

High Performance Mopar

Mopar Muscle sucks. They used to be better, a long long time ago, but even then the tech was horrible. They are a total sell out and would much rather turn everything into an aluminum radiatored, roller rockered, and digital dashed aftermarket shivvy pig. Whatever their primarily generic motors sponsors sell. Not only that but their writing is just so bland. Every story is the same, their attempt at humor is awful, and 90% of their content is written by submission which means they can't stand behind it (I have had them actually tell me that).

Do yourself a favor and cancel the MM subscription, and pick up a copy of Mopar Action. By far the best tech and best content, and the staff has stayed very much the same for a long, long time. All true mopar guys and all knowledgeable. What does that tell you.

Super Stock, Drag Illustrated use to be a great Mopar source

Mopar Action for me, has the most useful tech articles. I recently subscribed to Chrysler Power as well, but they're less than monthly.

Mopar Action for me as well, better tech, more stock restos. Mopar Muscle seems to be mostly restomods and newer stuff.

The only one I take anymore is MCG. It isn't big on Tech info but it's a great source for parts and I love the cars that they feature.

I guess that is what I like about it. I already get Hemmings motor news and read Vern Parker's site for stock restos but that is not what I am interested it.

I must have missed something in the two Mopar Actions I have purchased. I love reading stories that make our cars better drivers and meaner street machines. I lose interest in reading the stock resto stories.

I can't even count the number of tech articles they have done at MA. Off the top of my head: the famed A-body spindle disc brake upgrade, low buck trans tweaks, reference resto articles, the Green Brick series, the Savvy Savoy series where they develop a plug-n-play SMPI kit with Mopar Performance, suspension/steering tech, custom 9.25 rear axles, and I believe the first 518 swap. It's not every issue but it's close. And it's done on the cheap with factory flavor.

I like Mopar Action the best. Along with the great tech (seems like there isn't anything EBooger doesn't know), I like their humorous writing style. I liked MCG, too when I subscribed. I let it lapse but I'll probably subscribe again when I get around to it. I tend to get way behind in my reading, so I don't subscribe to too many.

rick and his subservient lackeys have always done it for me. I've got damn near every mopar action ever printed except the ones I loaned out to my unreliable lackeys. great tech, the best mopar mag by far in my opinion.

BTW, my favorite mag is the long gone High Performance Mopar, mainly because they were east coast heavy with coverage. Many of the staff went on to MA after the rag folded.

I like Muscle Car Review the best but I've actually never subscribed to Mopar Action. I think MCR has really good writing and even though they aren't Mopar specific they do an excellent job of spreading the love between the brands.

The only rag I get now is Shot Rod.....better than Crappy Craft or it was a few years ago. I got tired of seeing the same Mopar cars get shuffled around between the Mopar rags but it's been many years since having a sub to any of them.

Mudder Trend...Cart & Drover....Rod and Truck...

As long as they're in colour, I'll read 'em.

I subscribe to MA and MM and Hotrod. MA is the best by far; Ehrenberg has forgotten more Mopar tech than most people ever knew. And I really like the articles on Mopar racing history. MM hasn't been the same since Dave Young left; when my sub runs out I'll let it lapse.

Recently subbed to Hotrod and it's been the biggest surprise. The have great tech articles and even though they're not Mopar specific, the info translates across mfgs.

Hands down, Mopar Action is THE source for all Mopar tech. Personally have spoken to & bought parts from Rick Ehrenberg
as well as given excellant leads on hard to find parts. He has a nationwide network of Mopar connections, knows who's the best at what they do & knows who blows smoke up your azzzzzz. I fully support his publication & encourouge real Mopar fans to as well. Here is a link to his on-line page.......................http://www.moparaction.com/

I agree Mopar Action, is the best. I take out subscriptions to all at the Mopar Nats. to get the t-shirts.
