Most Casual/Accidental Incident That Led to Mopar Purchase?

Charger 500 first appeared in 69 as a special Nascar version of a Charger R/T... In 70 it continued to be available but as a completely different concept, it was a low option cheap model Charger that could be had with any engine from the \6 up to a 383... There were no 68 Charger 500's

Guess the crusher taking a year off the life of the car with a poke poke emoji and a smiley comment I made fell on deaf ears. Wasn’t trying to insult anyone or stir the pot.

Carry on....

The business world, my tortured universe for five decades. Worked for Corporate America, worked for myself. Followed my dad's advice, look yourself in the mirror, if you can't, walk away. Willing seller, willing buyer. A good deal is when both parties are a bit unhappy (quote from a former boss who was a certified sociopath!). It's hardly cut and dried. My take - you got a car you love. The seller sold it, he didn't have to. You made no misrepresentations of any kind, you played the cards that were dealt. Speaking from personal experience (you've read my posts), GTX's are a "thin" market. They go for serious money, but there are not a lot for sale, and there not a lot of buyers. I think you both made out okay. You should enjoy your car and not feel any guilt.
I agree. I certainly didn't get it for free. This is coming up to 3 years ago this summer. And neither of us knew that prices would continue to escalate. I then sold a base model '69 RoadRunner that same year. 383 auto that looked and ran decent, but did need some help in in engine bay and underneath. (Was getting a bit crusty) A step down in condition compared to the GTX. but certainly better than a lot I've seen forsale. I sold for $9k. Had I kept? Possibly twice that price today?

About 4 years ago my girlfriend at the time bought me NHL tickets to an Edmonton game, two days before the game I was looking online And I found a 71 Bahama Yellow Roadrunner for sale just south of Edmonton. Needless to say I brought the $2500 he wanted and a trailer for the 10hr drive (one way) She wasn’t very impressed haha.

A year later I was trying to sell a 67 Valiant Signet 2dr project, guy was interested then changed his mind. He mentioned that his uncle had a 71 Sassy Grass 383/3spd manual floorshift Roadrunner project with a 71 Satellite parts car and he would give him my number if I was interested. Bought them both for $2800.

Also found a 57 Fargo 313v8 about 5 years ago, Was out for a random drive to kill time when we got rained out one morning while I was working on a reserve in northern Manitoba. Bought it for $100
