Gosh Wayne, now that the rest of the ‘bird is finished to such a high standard how long until you get the urge to bring the engine compartment to the same level? The snowball effect is a real thing…

You be quiet !!

I do have a new radiator, transmission lines, a gallon + of paint, a complete front suspension kit that I won in a PST Superbowl contest... NOPE not happening. Only thing not clean in the engine compartment is the paint is peeling off the top of the engine some 34 years since I painted it!

Already been down for 1.5 years.. missed driving it all last Summer. She's getting driven this Summer. That and there is really nothing pressing. 57,000 mile car. All front suspension is still "safety check" passable, so no urgency to pull it apart. Other than engine paint, it's pretty clean. I've got other ducks to dress and need to get my airplane ready to go to camp as soon as that's possible (still 18" of ice). I'm getting a new 4800 volt submersible feed and transformer at ice out and need to be there.
