mr norms factory hemi car

Being a factory race car, is it streetable or are lots of mods needed? If it ready for the street, that seems very reasonably priced.

I'd be cautious about that ad! Does it have documentation showing it is a true Mr. Norms car! IE: Build sheet, fender tag and some thing from Mr. Norms stating that it is! Just a word of caution!

Uhhmmm guys....I dont think you can buy Mr Norms factory hemi racer car for the asking price of $9,999

So unless I read wrong somethings askew.

I think it's maybe just a roller,
I doubt it was any of the Chrysler/Dodge factory supported Hemi racecars,
that came out of Mr. Norm's dealership,
especially at $9999,
it also doesn't say it's a Hemi either, it says

"65 Dodge Coronet 426 factory racecar, very rare only 1 of 80 produced",
I kind of doubt it thou, it maybe a factory 426 car {probably a Street Wedge car},
but doubtful on the factory racecar part

I could be wrong thou, wouldn't be the 1st time

price isn't too bad, if it's not just a roller,
looks solid & straight, has a set of old American, US, ET or other vintage mag wheels

I've been doing this mopar stuff for 40+ years, and never understood the importance of what salesman/dealer delivered a car, new.

Mr. Norm's
Dick Landy's
Baldwin Motion
Nickey Chevy
Yenko Chevy & a few others
they all have some great history,
some more than others it seems...

I'm not sure the extra value added thou, minimal if any,
unless it's a specialty car, by one of them "Days Of Lore" Dealerships

Like Budnicks points out, there are some famous dealers. Dealers who sold stuff that you just couldn't get anywhere else, because they were unique to a certain dealership. If you wanted a 421 or 428 GTO, you had to go to Royal Pontiac. Mr. Norm's Grand Spalding Dodge was selling 383 Darts in 1967 before the factory offered them (couldn't be done, said the factory) and then upped it to 440 Darts, also later copied by the factory. In 1972 they were selling supercharged 340 Demons. For awhile they were simply the biggest selling dealer out there, and that pedigree helps when selling a car.

To me, it only means that it's not a factory car....and everybody knows how much the buildsheet means.[insert sarcasm]
