what all do I have to change to hook up a MSD Electronic ignition for a 68 Roadrunner?? Do I need to make adjustments to a wiring harness? I have power in "on" position but no power to accessories in start position.

You can use the points to trigger the MSD by hooking up to the white wire. The big red wire goes directly to the battery. The small red wire is the key on/off +12V. Black is ground. Then the orange and something else fire the coil. Google MSD instructions or hook up and you will have all the info you need. It's no big deal and you don't have to completely butcher the wiring. The beauty of using points as a trigger is you can get back on the road if the box dies. And yes, I had a box go out once.

The key on signal to the MSD needs to be fed by two wires. The brown wire at the ballast resistor is hot in crank only. The dark blue wire at the ballast resistor is hot in run only.Use atest light to check and make sure you've found the correct 2. You need to tie them together to feed the key on on at the MSD. Feed the large red wire to the MSD from the battery or the starter relay terminal. make sure the large black wire has a good solid chassis or battery ground. Coil wires are self explanatory. The trigger wires depend on what type of distributor your running.
Good luck Doug
