My 69 bee has 245 60 15 tires all around on Crager wheels that I believe are 15 x 7.i want to get the back end up a few inches.would 275 60 15 work ok on rear with then 7 wide wheels?thanks,David.
A 275/60/15 will fit fine in the rear wells with the proper backspacing of the rim(got them on the back of my '69 RR) Question is will a 275/60 fit on a 7" rim...Recommended rim width for that tire looks to be 7.5"-9.5"
BTW..I have 8" rims in the back with 4.5" backspacing
I put 295/50 15's on the back of the 69 Coronet. 8" rims. No problem, lots of room to spare. Got a deal at Summit. Coopers mounted and balanced on Rallyes. Bitchin.
