my 70 barn find

For what it is worth, I have 245/60R15s on the front of my 70 Road Runner. They are on 15x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing. They fit perfect with no rubs. Obviously, we are talking a different rim diameter here, but the tire is still a 245 tread width. I would think with the right backspacing, you should be able to fit a 245/??R18 wheel on the front (not sure what the sidewall would be, maybe a 30?).
That RMS suspension kicks it out a little more than stock. Just have to make sure before I order the rims. Thanks hsorman

Sweeeeeeeeet! Man is it coming together, you picked a good crew to handle the build for sure. The hood, suspension, door handles, stance, panel fitment....... THE WHOLE CAR KICKS ***!!! Give those guys a hug for me, they're doing you well.

Holy Crap! It doesn't feel like that long ago I checked in and SO MUCH PROGRESS!!!

Where to begin! Stance is on point! body panels are looking damn near perfect and that hood is just a sick sick piece, love seeing how far this car has come so quickly.

I'm getting excited!!!

Well my body man an I sitting around and I told him I hate those rectangular side marker lights. Just not cool. I wanted maybe something with trimmed in chrome maybe and he said I got an idea let me do this I think you will like it. I said go for it. Well. I love it , flush mounted 1968 marker lights. What ya guys think.

I don't think you are paying your body guy enough.

I love them - they are a nice custom touch that will make a Mopar guy suddenly stop and scratch his head. Those are the cool little details that will make people hover around your car and "discover" all the cool little touches.

Sold!

I hate to be negative but I assume you asked for honest opinions and not just "Looks great" responses so here goes mine...
I like the round recessed look, just not on a 70.
Also, I believe the larger side markers were a federal safety requirement, not that that really matters.

Absolutely socal, point taken. I just fell in love with them. If we all liked the same what fun would that be. Thanks socal440gtx
