H2XS - Might be M2xS, but I cant tell. It'd be your vinyl bench seat though, in either high (H) or optional décor (M) with a

still have it , still gathering parts , I think im going to toss it back together as is , to look like a 70 street freak . I have a 440 motor and hemi 4 speed trans , just need to go throught the fuel and brakes system and hope the 45 year old 35 k wiring works LOL

Question the VX6 Black Longitudinal Stripe anyone have an example , only stripe my car has is a lower black stripe along the bottom of the car . I have only seen this stripe on 69 GTX's ????

Sorry about the loss of your brother. He left you some history!

Mine was not so much a barn find after 29 years....it was a "TREE" Find. Out in the driveway under a tree in the back of his home. The original owner was his aunt and he bought it from her in 83. Since that time he put roughly 7000 miles on it and from the 9 hours of cleaning...he NEVEWR washed it. I went to look at it...started it up...drove it around the neighborhood. Came back paid him for it...went the following Saturday got in again she cranked RIGHT up...I drove her up on the trailer. Since....it will crank over a few times and then hit and fire. after its run 2 or more minutes....you can touch the key and she fires in what seems a quarter turn!!! I've been driving it EVERYWHERE!!!!

The V6X stripe is the three part stripe going up your hood.
I'm not sure if Plymouth painted the rocker area with black on the 70's or if some one at some point had it done. I've seen a pretty original, although rough, 70 gtx that was orange with the black rocker areas.

i thinkit was only an option on a 69GTX
